Installation of the secondary battery for the 12 and 24 Volt powersupply under the bottomboards. The still empty frame on the right and left will serve as main battery cases, seats and also bunks. The secondary battery has a gascollector and temperature-monitoring.

The heavy water- and soundproofed door in the machineroom bulkhead. On the left in the aluminium wall is the door to the WC. The right will later become a caboose. Below to see: The frame for the main battery.

Installation of the stainless steel propeller to the stern tube. Below the bolted box you can see the composition and bearring. The stern tube itself is filled with oil and pressure compensated. The cover-sternconus and the propeller are missing in this picture.

Carsten between both subs. The small one has a displacement of about 0.6 tons, the big brother about 100 times more (60 tons)!

A view from the upper deck. The tower and dive rudders of the Euronaut here are in an extreme position. This will never be able in future time. The upperdeck itself will be completely flooded when diving. The chasm in the middle is for breather. On the right to see: Small brother Sgt. Peppers, the one man submarine.

The 500kg trim weight below the bottom boards but above the batteries automatically rolls to the opposite direction if somebody moves inside the boat while underwater driving. It's to regulate the boat without turning the rudders or intertank transfers.

Preperation for another test of the dive chamber. Above the passage there is a small gate. It's necessary to supply divers with warm meals while the decompression which takes long time in high depth. On the left the panel for the camera-control.

The dieselelectric aggregate engine as skeleton. On the right the 190PS diesel, in the middle the operator's auxiliary stand of the machine room, below the layshaft. On the left the drive (redbrown) and behind the combined electic engine and generator (whitegrey). The rodlike box at the end of the drive is one of the two servos the mechanism is normally controlled with from the central.

In sight: The body of the two breathlime filters of the dive chamber. The chamber also serves as an escape room for emergency cases (e.g. fire). On the upper right the flexible tubes to fill the gas cylinders for diving.

Meltin of lead needs breating protection! The gases of melt lead are poision.

Catch of the day. About 400-500 pound of new lead bars. I need 4 ts for the sub.

The pictures shows the lead-bars inside the submarine below the batteries. The sub needs 3 ts of lead for stability reason and 1 ts is building reseve for later add equipment.

Kopenhagen: Peters brandnew UC3 under conctruction, Michaels lorry from the 2dive Projekt and the gel-battery which will be install next time in the Euronaut.

Another view. UC3 and the Euronaut have nearly the same size. That the lorry comes with his own crane was very helpful during loading the 3ts of batterys.
