This is the machine control station, the place where the diesel and electric engines, the generator and the gearbox is controlled.

The green ones are dive-tanks, the red ones are dive-controllers, the yellow one is filled with diesel, also light blue and orangebrown ones for fresh and dirty water. Another one (brown) shows the trim-drive-block and the dive-chamber (dark blue).
