In 1979 Carsten actually began flying and in the age of 14 he drove a plane for the first time.

The first seagoing boat. The C.S.S. Komet, the protoype of a measurement barge, was built as an empty hull and rebuilt. The landtransport was done by lorry and the boat was used for wreckdiving in the north and baltic sea. The 225PS V8 gasoline engine made driving be extremely uneconomically and reduced the range dramatically.

C.S.S. Rock'n - a runabout in word's meaning! The boat with 130PS nearly cutted off two divers heads. A defect at the fuel tank or it's supply leaded to an explosion in the harbour of Burg on Fehmarn a short time before leave.
HANDS OFF BOATS WITH GASOLINE ENGINES!

C.S.S. Seawalker - was the prototype of an AUV (autonom underwater vehicle). It worked well, but the problem with all those underwater vehicles is the lack of intelligence of the boardcomputer. They like hanging round in old nets...
The project was done by Norbert Brüggen (build) und Carsten (design).

C.S.S. Sgt. Pepper's - was Carstens first manned submarine and can be found since 1989 in guinness book of world records. It's for one person, who drives the vehicle in lying position. The submarine can nowadays be visited on summer weekends at car museum in Asendorf (near the B6). Since ca. 1988 and with breaks until 1999 often used it also works nowadays.

Carsten behind the 100 Meter dive in the chamber. The sub was move in the chamber abozut 3 feet forward/aft or 2 feet up and down. The procedere of closing the chamber with bolts, flooding with water, pressurize, dive and test the boat, removing the water and unbolting the chamber takes about 1.5 to 2.0 hours.
